| 221 | April 6, 1944 - December 31, 2017 Kenneth Eugene Parks, age 73 of Kingston, TN passed away December 31, 2017 at Parkwest Hospital. He attended Midway High School where he played football and basketball, and also enjoyed watching and attending football, Nascar, and horse racing. Mr. Parks was employed at ORNL for 40 years and also was employed with Coldwell Banker Jim Henry and Associates as an auctioneer. He work at the White Store in Kingston, Tn as a Meat Cutter/Butcher He was a member of the City Council. Ken was a devoted father and loved his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents Ernest and Arvenia Parks, brother Joe Paul Parks, Grandparents Joe Wheeler and Margaret “Sis” Crabtree. Survivors include Daughter Melissa Parks of Jacksonville. Sisters Barbara Jean Hart of Lenoir City. Ellen Martin. Brothers James (Gail) Parks Tommy (Kathy) Parks Gary (Janice) Parks all of Kingston. Aunt Wanda Hutchison. A host of nieces, nephews, as well as special friends. Funeral 7pm Thursday January 4, 2018 in the Kyker Chapel with the Rev. Ted Clower officiating.
